Breastfeeding Pamphlet Research + Initial Development (text and image)

Breastfeeding pamphlets being given to mothers needing breastfeeding advice, could be used as a template for the guilt free guide to breastfeeding poster. 

Colour scheme's are pastels, need to be careful with the translation to black and white imagery. The layout and shapes are soft also, bubble and curves, very few sharp edges. 

Images are either simple cartoons or photographs relating to the text, I can't take photographs so would either have to find images online or create my own illustrations relating to the info. 

These pamphlets take simple steps and put them into context. The layout could be incorporated into the poster design, combine the two idea to develop a text and image poster. 

Above is the beginnings of the poster, watercolour cartoons picking up on the satirical humour within newspaper cartoons. Having the poster be of cartoons adds to the playfulness of the content, its meant to be picking fun at the ridiculous things people do when they see someone breastfeeding in public.
The watercolour also adds good texture and gradient when made greyscale.
