COMA
Imagine the moment of waking up is actually the moment when your dream begins. In light of this new and strange reality, how can we save you from the unspeakable horrors which lurk in the dark recesses of your mind? The only cure we offer is a placebo and a promise. Please remember when you leave to take your body with you.

VULVARINE
Bryony Buckle is astoundingly average. Her days are filled with mind-numbing office work, thinking about lunch and lusting after Orson from IT. But following a dose of hormone therapy gone wrong and a well-timed bolt of lightning, Bryony gains superhero abilities and a brand-new persona: Vulvarine, saviour of womankind. Where is all the tampon tax going? Who is The Mansplainer, and what is his evil plan? Grab your tights, your Spanx and your most supportive sports bra. It's hero time.

ROBIN MORGAN: WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN (SAY IT AGAIN NOW)
Following a sell-out 2018 Fringe and debut UK tour, the ‘utterly hilarious’ **** (BroadwayBaby.com) stand-up returns with a new hour. Robin’s a father to his son. A son to his father. But what makes a good male role model? As seen on BBC Two’s Stand-Up At BBC Wales. Writer for The Mash Report (BBC Two) and The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4). Tour support for Ellie Taylor and Iain Stirling. Warm-up for The Graham Norton Show. **** (Sunday Times).

ADAM KAY: THIS IS GOING TO HURT LIVE
Million-copy bestseller Adam Kay returns to the Fringe for two nights only, sharing entries from his diaries as a junior doctor in this 'electrifying' (Guardian) evening of stand-up and music. The accompanying book is winner of seven major book awards including Book of the Year at the National Book Awards. A Fringe classic and absolute sell-out UK tour, seen live by over 100,000 people.

OLAF FALAFEL
Critically acclaimed idiot Olaf Falafel is back once again like a renegade master. If you've been to any of his previous shows, you'll know exactly what to expect – inventive jokes and stupid comedic leftfieldery all held together with the flimsiest of narrative structures. 'Absurdity so well-crafted that silly doesn't do it justice' (Evening Standard). ‘A wonderful hour of professional silliness’ (List). ‘A barrage of absurdist humour and sharp one-liners’ (EdFringeReview.com). ‘Olaf Falafel is an idiot, and wouldn’t have it any other way’ (Steve Bennett, Chortle.co.uk). ‘Refreshingly odd’ (iNews.co.uk).

SOLITARY
Right now, there are between 60,000 and 80,000 people held in solitary confinement within United States prisons – many of whom have served months or even years in extreme isolation. Nearly 80% of these inmates will be released back into society, where they will be expected to face the challenges of reintegration and leave their punishment behind them. Drawing on extensive research, Solitary uses intense physical performance, music and sound to communicate the devastating psychosocial experience of solitary confinement, telling the story of one man's descent into memory and madness – and what happens when the door opens.

SHOWSTOPPER: THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL
The Edinburgh must-see, Olivier Award-winning (Best Entertainment and Family Show) West End hit returns for its 12th consecutive year! A brand-new musical comedy is created from scratch at every performance of this multi award-winning show. Each night audience suggestions are transformed into all-singing, all-dancing productions with hilarious results. A Fringe favourite and a phenomenon; your Edinburgh is simply incomplete without it. 'The top musical improvisers in the business... Compulsory Fringe viewing... Just book in time' ***** (BroadwayBaby.com). 'Had me weeping with laughter' ***** (Mail on Sunday). 'Achingly funny... Worth seeing again and again' ***** (Time Out).

THE CANARY AND THE CROW
The award-winning Middle Child present The Canary and the Crow – brand new gig theatre about the journey of a working-class black kid who is accepted to a prestigious grammar school. This lyrical, semi-autobiographical piece from writer and performer Daniel Ward uses grime, hip hop and theatre to tell the story of the struggle between a new environment that doesn't accept you and an old one that has no opportunity. 'A superb piece of gig theatre' (Lyn Gardner on Middle Child’s sell-out hit, All We Ever Wanted Was Everything).

YUCK CIRCUS
Winner: Top-tier Fringe World Martin Sims Award 2019. Winner: Adelaide Tour-Ready Award 2019. Winner: Best Circus Fringe World Weekly 2019. Sugar, spice, and apparently "nice". With our bloody good sense of humour, we're going to rip into the uncomfortable using high-flying acrobatics, absurd confessions and groovy dancing. Get ready to witness a powerhouse of female circus performers kick art in the face. ‘Everything contemporary circus should be’ (Danny Delhunty, Melbourne Fringe Producer).

ABOUT A BUOY
Isma is British multiculturalism at its best. In About a Buoy – Adventures in Adoption, her preconception-shattering, down-to-earth and engaging style, explores transracial adoption, gender, religion, sexuality, race, one homophobic Muslim mother and Freddie Mercury. As seen on BBC Asian Network Comedy and BBC Two's The Big Asian Stand-Up. ‘A one-woman antidote to Islamophobia' (Leeds Guide). ‘A natural at teasing out the underlying humour from real-life stories’ (Chortle.co.uk). ‘One of the most original and charming circuit comedians’ (BroadwayBaby.com).
