Traditional Aspects of a Book and how it Could be Changed

Direction of reading:
- The book could be read backwards
- It could follow a route that was walked in the space
- The images and text could be overlaid so it's difficult to read correctly
- The pages could fold into the middle so you really have to look inside the book to be able to read it
- It could jump from page to page so the page numbers become vital

Page numbers:
- Could guide the reader in an unconventional way
- Could relate to a specific aspect of the place
- Increase by the same amount each time, relating to a time period or specific fact
- They could be placed in a different way on each page, maybe turned into a flip book type thing

Pages:
- Could have one large page that you fold out/in to make or deconstruct the book
- The weight of the pages could all be different/made out of different materials
- Could hand make the paper for the pages, introduce something that's very unusual to the process, eg flowers, or plants?
- They could all be lose and don't need to be in an order

Front Cover
- Have a cover or box for the book to live in or be protected but also used as a design choice
- Have the front cover become some other part of the book, be on the blurb, be in the centre etc
- Have no front cover
- Make it not obvious what's inside the book, making it not work for it's purpose
