This short film contains some fine photography of the delights on offer to Edinburgh visitors - including trams, bustling streets, restful parks and some familiar tourist sights.
The other imagery and videos I have don't look very professional when you see them as they are. So cropping the photos down to more interesting sections could be a way of developing the project further. Focusing in on the smaller things to create a whole, think about where the photos were taken.
These photos focus in on one specific element at a time, they're not over loaded. How could I make them more chaotic, is this the idea I want?
The route I walked was chaotic but I didn't feel flustered or stressed. - Could respond to this feeling, creating an experience that is almost a replication of how I felt when walking this route.
Videos collected throughout my time in Edinburgh are minimal, but could relate to the project somehow.
Many have other people in the video, but I'm not with anyone else on this journey - how could this be translated across in the experience. Need a way to isolate the audience from the experience but keeping them immersed.
Edited images to match the black and white archive footage found:
They look more formal, however it presents a really different feel to what the experience is walking round the fringe, there are people, posters and colours everywhere. A very unique experience, black and white feels like it's removed all the bonkers elements of the fringe from view.
