Exhibition celebrating the use of everyday business jargon.
A series of five original artworks designed by creative duo Isabel + Helen will create a playful and immersive experience in store. A programme of activities will take place each Saturday throughout September and October, thanks to the kind support of G . F Smith, which will allow attendees to take away a uniquely designed print. Hato Press will be running a Risograph printing workshop and South East Print Studio will be hosting free screenprinting demos.
“We wanted to create an installation where people could acknowledge and celebrate these strange quirks – no matter what their background."
- Really wanting to bring a topic to the audience's attention. Really achieves this through the use of exaggerated visuals depicting the common phrases.
The pieces exhibited highlight how colloquial the language is, the use of bright colours, playful typeface and simple execution demonstrates how everyday the language is.
Thinking about this very visual, simple way of presenting this information to an audience, could this be something to think about more when working on the project further?
