- Based off of geometry and geography, clear concept.
- Type inspired by Sasha lobe, really like the typeface, was legible on the whole, some letters such as W were difficult to recognise as they're a lot bigger width wise.
- Consistency in the typeface and colour scheme was really good, looked the same across all formats.
- Layout of the presentation could've been improved on a couple of slides to make it clearer what you were talking about.
- A few design decisions such as the shapes made for the key, they look really good but the justification for them was lacking, if it was continued could be something to develop further.
Group 3 - Trap Street
- Typeface based off of 3x3 grid used in maps, curves represent curves in roads.
- Based off of fake streets made in maps.
- Liked the consistent use of the shape in the typeface, to be reflected across the rest of the visual identity.
- The consistent colour scheme and type made for a clear visual identity.
- The overall theme was rushed slightly at the start of the presentation, so became a bit difficult to follow the rest.
Group 4 - Fused
- Love the typeface designed, could've been used on the poster instead of Futura, to add more consistency.
- The presentation was really good, the idea of a circuit could've been furthered to the way people would walk around the gallery, continuing with the idea of them being a current.
- The symbols developed from the typeface was really nice, but was inconsistent with the type.
- Could use the idea of a circuit in the exhibition physically, e.g. using crocodile clips to hold up the work.
Group 5 - Get Lost
- Really like the overall design, really consistent across the colour scheme as well as the typeface.
- Think on the poster the idea of the arrows could've been used to your advantage more, having the audience directed to read the text in a certain way, whether that be in the correct order or the wrong to increase the idea of being lost.
- Within the presentation the rationale page didn't feel as though it was needed, we should've been able to understand the context with an overall rationale, could've been used as a script instead.
- The playful nature of the exhibition is really effective, especially loved the 'I'm lost! Come find me at colours may vary' for the labels/catalogue.
