How would this impact a cover?

• Hard back cover, or box to contain the book? Hard back would be more successful as it would allow for the shock of opening the book better than a box, also would be able to contain the tip-ins better.
• Have a textured book cover, either in appearance or physically.
• Earth toned cover, nothing that stand out that much.
• Very basic layout of the title placement, needs to look thought through but effortlessly.
