What did I see walking around the street at the Fringe?
- Man with a parrot in his rucksack
- The most pierced woman in the world (actually)
- A Capella group
- Man eating a balloon
- Lots of bag pipes
- Guy playing funk on his guitar with a kid dancing in front of him
- The 'come to my show, I'm tragic' guy.
- Big choir of old people singing sunshine on Leith
- Jugglers from New Zealand
What did I hear walking around Edinburgh at the Fringe?
- Scottish accents
- French accents
- Lots of american accents
- Seagulls
- Sirens
- Bag pipes
- Crossings
- Busking
- Drums
- Choir singing
The whole experience was very all consuming and interactive, very busy atmosphere but with an undertone of being organised.
The fringe program became a bible on the trip, as well as google maps. However even the program itself feels like it's organised chaos as it can be quite difficult to get a hang of.
How to put this all into a book?
- The pages could be organised into sections, sound, sight, experience etc.
- The book could be laid out as a specific journey, eg my week at the ed fringe and what I saw and in what order.
- The pages could be set out liek the city, having a vibe of intertwining, vaults, multiple levels, just like the streets of Edinburgh.
- NEED TO ENSURE IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A SCRAPBOOK AND IT LOOKS CONSIDERED
