Further Developments (collage, page size)

Been very stuck in the idea of stopping it from being messy and like a scrap book, the approach has become too clean, and too refined. The end results of any testing is very sleek and professional, which doesn't truly reflect the vibe of the fringe.

NEED TO BE MORE PLAYFUL WITH DESIGN TO DEVELOP A PLAYFUL OUTCOME.

Looked back through flyers and saw one that incorporated collage, Leon in my crit also mentioned using the flyers as material to collage imagery for the book.

Began experimenting with imagery, felt like the book needed to be something other than just text, but still draw on this theme of having a final product made from lots of different things.

Silent disco scan

showstopper scan

vulvarine scan

Used a combination of found paper stock, imagery from the internet and some from the flyers collected to develop an image that represents the show in some way. This sticks with the idea of the many making the few.

Here it was tested on the paper size, as showstopper was in the comedy section the page size has been reduced by a 1/3. As 1/3 of shows at the fringe were comedy.
