Responsive Briefs

The Significance of Numbers:
Use this brief to change the way we think about numbers and fire your audience’s imagination to see the world with fresh eyes. Research and investigate the philosophical and factual elements of numbers and create an engaging experience for your target audience – make them fall in love with mathematics.

- Think about the way we view number, develop a new way of working with numbers.
- Could look into the history of numbers, how they're used.
- Gather information on how we interact with numbers on a daily basis.

Camden Brewery
We’d love to see your original visuals that tie into the theme of ‘Fresh’, fitting to our brand, and that our customers will want to proudly display on their walls. Think fresh ideas, and fresh perspectives. Show us something we haven’t seen before! These simply need to be submitted as stand-alone images - suitable to be shown A3 portrait.

- Would need to be a quick brief, complete in a week potentially.
- Could work with an illustrator, gather old work and collab with my work (have a session with Kat and Soph).
- Needs to have a narrative, and tell a story relating to the idea of fresh, what could this be?

Fact/Fiction
Using the theme fact/fiction as your starting point, we’d like you to work collaboratively to develop a new body of work. You can interpret the theme as you like and we encourage you to work on something that all students can contribute to equally (ideas, image making, presentation and documentation). This is also an opportunity to learn new skills from your peers such as composition, layout, visual identity and art direction.

- Think about how to translate into something that suits me best.
- Superstitions, folk law, myths, how to translate these into something more playful.
IDEA 1: Having the focus on superstition, photograph different superstitions and illustrate over the top, turn into a narrative within a publication, or series of prints.
