Note pad:
- The production was up to a high standard, decisions had been made to increase the quality of the product (paperstock considerations, as well as perfect bound construction).
- The design works well with the outside and inside concept, layout is simple but effective, main aim was to be a practical product.
- The text on the outside got a bit lost with the design, if made again the opacity would be reduced to minimise this effect.
Calendar:
- The shapes used within the calendar are cohesive to the rest of the project.
- The vertical layout for the month is a simple but effective twist on the traditional landscape calendar.
- The final production was made very quickly, and more thought could have gone into the materials (mostly paper stock) to increase the quality and appearance of the piece.
Planner:

- Similar issue with production as the calendar, not as much thought had gone into the materials of the piece leading it to look more messy.
- The layout on the inside of the calendar works well with the rest of the items, a small tweak could have been the calendar days have the same grey tone in the background so it would match the planner best.
- The cover works really well when on a full span, you can see shapes being created in the negative space which adds another layer to the piece.
Overall Thought:
- We worked well as a group however little more communication during the final production of the individual pieces would have been beneficial as to keep things more cohesive.
- There could have been more considerations into the materials used as to have things appear higher quality, if we had more time this would be an element we'd improve on.
- If the project were to be carried out further we could design the packaging as well as a website. The shapes we used are very universal allowing them to be applied to these situations effectively.
