Camden Town Brewery - Final Animation Developments, Can Developements

Final Animation Developments

- Taking the stills from Kumail's animation and getting Kat refine the illustrations:

With these need to animate alone and in time to the text animations:

^Sketches alone

^ text and sketch animation

- Thinking of application for this, it could be used in advertising or promotional materials.
- The animations could pop up on a youtube or facebook ad (they have that scale to them).

Cans

- Testing using singular textures for the background of the cans, striping things back to the labeling may be easier to design.
- Thinking there could be a pack of 4 with the different can designs, then the packaging would include all the textures.

  • Trying to develop a labeling system for the Camden beer cans/bottles.
  • Wanting to keep to look consistent with Camden's brand but in the playful style of the rest of the designs.
  • Multiple elements to be considered with this so need to figure out the right arrangement for the cans - don't want them to look too busy.
  • Number 5 has a good structure to it, however there are one to many elements. Maybe rearrange the percentage to be on the back.
  • Having the coloured logo on the front works really well. It stops the design from being in one colour only - can see on number 2 that it looks flat without it.

^ This has a more balanced appearance, keeping things centred on the front of the can will be beneficial for when it's placed on the can as the curve will distort it slightly.
Also moving the alcohol percentage to the back of the can gives more room for the icons that are on the front to breath.

Design with other textures - would be packaged as a set of 4 cans.

^ Paper cut of a previous development.
- Really like the textures and the outcome, think it works well with the theme as well as the text.
- Is pretty busy, is this a problem? Could other arrangements be better?
- Need to print and place on a can to see which works better.
