- Maths = squared paper and equations.
- Inches = makes no sense, came from a random measurement.
- Metre = measurement came from the circumference of the earth.


- As a starting point for experimentation thought back to previous work and techniques that felt as though they suited the "bonkers" approach i want to take towards this brief. What came to mind was using a photocopier, it feels appropriate as maths makes me think of school and photocopiers the same.


- Experimenting with scrunching the paper, thinking along the lines of the imperial measurements system is based in nothing solid so it might as well go in the bin (according to research).
- Basic idea, needed to get the ball rolling.
- The maths on these mean nothing, makes it less meaningful for the project, if I were to repeat would need to be linked to the idea of the different measurement systems.
- Think about new ways to develop the project further, these look nice but have no context.
- What could be done from this?
- Need a typeface for the exhibition, trace creases and see?
- Like the process of scanning (feels like an appropriate homage to school environment) could maybe incorporate into the rest of the project.
