- Taking the design and animating with the final textures.
- Kat finished the collage for the print so need to translate to type as well as to poster.
- Waiting on Kat to complete bar collage for bottle label.
- Research bottle label sizes.
- Trying to get back into After Effects after not using it for a while.
- Forgot to change to motion so it was jumpy rather than a smooth motion.
- The black background is a result of having the transparent effect (allows it to be placed over other images/videos without a background).
- Needs improvements, try without the transitions, try speeding it up.
- Tested without the transitions between shapes, keeping along with the jumpy feel of Kumail's animation.
- The jumpy motions looks better, it fits the aesthetic better.
- Could maybe be a bit quicker?
- This is the animation with transitions, but sped up a bit.
- The transitions really don't work when they're quicker, it doesn't stay on one section for long enough and ultimately looses any meaning.
- Final animation, the speed is at a good rate, not too quick or too slow (need to check with peers).
- The jumpy transitions work best.
- The colour palette and collage add a ready fresh, playful feel to the type.
What to do now?
- Experiment with layout on beer mats, poster, advertisements and beer label.
- Develop a body text typeface, keeping with a similar aesthetic.
- Test animations with Kumail's animation.
- Combining the two animation.
- Not sure about how they work together, they're on different time frames - maybe contact Kumail about how to fix this.
- Thinking the person doesn't need to be collaged, it could be a chinagraph outline then with the glass in collage to bring attention to it?
- Need to talk to Kat to maybe take it further.
The stills of this were really nice too, could be applied to other elements potentially:

How could these be translated to other elements?
What does the poster need to say?
Why text?

- Looking very childish, need to be more refined.
- Too much collage, maybe rethink the use of collage on the individuals and have outlines only for these with the collage text?
- Need to make sure it's clear it's about the beer, maybe have the beer in collage and the rest in an outline only - keeps the attention on the beer.
- These are on the way to being the right thing.
- Definitely need to have the beer be in colour to bring attention to it.
- Try to bring the aesthetic of it to a more mature level, think about the colour scheme as well as the illustrations.
