Decimal system is self explanatory system,a lot easier to learn.
With imperial you’ve just got to know it, no logical system.
There is no constant with the imperial system, no concrete way of scaling.
The names within the decimal system explain the size of the number, centi, milli, micro etc.
Gigifoot, microinch, things like this don’t exist.
Sometimes with wood measurements if its an inch thick it’ll 4 quarters (which means a whole).
Again, this doesn't make any sense.
