Experimenting with Type (Anatomy)

Thinking about type, the different anatomy and how a lot of it is to do with the body:

How could this relate to altering the typeface?

> Chose Basis Grotesk Pro as it's a clean, simple typeface.
 - It's different to the gritty images and I think provides a nice contrast.
 - Need to see how it works with the rest of the branding.
> Highlighting the different anatomy in the colours that will be used as stickers within the exhibition
 - Brings attention to different elements of the typeface.
 - Could be worth doing for titles and headings but not for body text.
 - Need to see how it works within the project.

Aktiv Ex Exra Bold

Garamond Bold

Aktiv Ex Bold

Aktiv Ex Medium

> I prefer the lighter typefaces, Aktiv Ex Medium and Basis Grotesk were the ones I prefered.
 - Basis has a more youthful tone.
 - Aktiv has a more contemporary feel with the extended text.

What does this do for the audience?
 - unless know about type anatomy it doesn't demonstrate much.
 - see how this could work in context, website, publication etc.
