Exhibition Clarification (Interventions)

Exhibition:
> Need to clarify the way one of the components will work. Feel it is most appropriate to do this with the Exhibition layout, navigation etc due to not being able to test these ideas.

Navigation of the exhibition will be similar to the way we are allowed to move in shops currently. I've experienced this and it really makes you aware of not only your own body but others as well.

I was thinking about the body and the senses and after my crit I really liked the idea of incorporating sound into the exhibition, but not music. When I've been to museums there are often videos playing but you have to be stood under an acrylic dome with a speaker in it to hear what it's saying.
- Think makes you aware of your body as you have to be stood in a certain place to hear the sound.
As suggested in crit the audio could be playing back that the audience is saying or playing prompts for them to listen to and get involved with.
- Could be interventions like The Rodina, such as 'place a sticker on the walls or floor surrounding this piece, it can't be on top of the work but can go anywhere else. This would allow for documentation of the audience to be made.

These domes look like the image below:

A Wide Dispersion sound dome directional speaker keeps audio focused in front of the display.

Feel the audio should only be played on certain pieces, could become irritating or overwhelming.

If the audio is repeating what the audience is saying back to them then it could go over the works that involve audience participation.
If the audio is presenting a prompt it could go over every works and simply play once or twice to get the audience to display that prompt.

Feel like the prompts should involve sticker or the audience leaving a mark on the exhibition, want there to be a sense of tracking involved.

Blurting Ideas:
>Audience given set of 6 stickers when entering the exhibition, and instructed to place these around different works.
>Could be instructed by sound domes or be provided with a prompt pamphlet.
>Prompts could be placed under specific works, like extra information
- People could miss these though.
>Could have to read though instructions and random sounds be played during the exhibition, when you hear a certain sound you have to place the sticker somewhere?

Really like the idea of being given a pamphlet of stickers to place around the exhibition.
- Feel like this incorporates a design element to the exhibition.

^ Something like this to get the audience involved in the way the exhibition looks.
- Would be a way of incorporating colour into the exhibition, this could be reflected in other works, publication etc.

Could incorporate the coloured circles onto website, thinking back to initial idea, having to move the mouse over the image.
 - Think with the website it ould be really interesting to play with the use of keys, the audience would have to navigate using arrow keys rather than mouse.
 - Would app make more sense? How would this work?
