'History of the World' - Jeremy Deller
- Shows a thought process in action, the connections between two categories being made, visualised the development in thought and movement.
- A common theme between the two music genres is their ownership of public space, both wanting to play and make music to be performed in public spaces. The way the word is presented on the wall, compliments this, the piece is demanding public space as much as the genres do.
Lettrism
- In French, the movement is called Lettrisme, from the French word for letter, arising from the fact that many of their early works centred on letters and other visual or spoken symbols.
- Isou and Pomerand were key figures in the movement.
- Cross over between creative areas, art, literature, music, happened to develop poems and art pieces encapsulating all areas.

- On the visual side, the Letterists first gave the name 'metagraphics' and then 'hypergraphics' to their new synthesis of writing and visual art.
- Developing a sort of language from the imagery, became like coding, a way of having certain people recognise the content.
