'Translating between screen to print.print to screen.'

Forme - publication displaying fine art photography alongside fashion photography, looking at how those two cna look similar while being totally different.
Publisher found the work of MA very interesting (see below) and wanting the publication follow this.

Collecting imagery over 2 years, when placing it on the page the images clustered over themselves. Made think of when you put printed photos on a table and gather them up. This idea of relating the physical to the digital.

Curio Curia - Marie Jones and Stina Puotinen exhibition
Google API - teaching computers to recognise imagery, notices facial expression emotion.
If the image is uploaded that isn't online it will guess the analysis. Saw a ceramic sculpture in the exhibition and it thought it was a snake. Adam took photos of the thing exhibited in the exhibition then put them through google API and presented a false reality of the exhibition.

'Capturing the screen.'
Screenshot pre-loading images on instagram - turned into a book 'Portraits from Inframince'.
Printed out these images large scale and placing them into the real world.

Transient Space
Digital gallery in MSoA atrium, exploring the concepts of time, space and the culture of the transient screen.
Always has to hijack an existing screen, takes over regular spaces, to present as a non-traditional gallery.
Sound reactive (Isadora software to do this) once a sound was made in the space it would change the text on the screen.
Simple animations but with multiple layers, adding this sense of depth to the work, thinking about why you would want to project the work instead of have it printed.

Disrupt the Channel 2018
International cohort of creators, as the work was digital it was easier to gather everyone's work from all over.
Median duration people look at a piece of artwork is 17 seconds, so the aim was to make work that lasted for 17 seconds.
Artists/designers had to base their work off of the theme disruption, each had their own interpretation.
