The way the text could animate is a single letter at a time, or a as a whole sentence appearing one letter at a time. The way the text is animated needs to represent the way you experience the sound. This is already achieved slightly by having the animations go across the whole container, but how the do so will have a greater impact.
Tested these out:
Single Letter at a Time
Alone:
In Animation:
Here the text is only legible as it has the audio to guide the reader, however could also be because I know what the audio says so need to get opinions form peers.
Single Letters to Reveal a Whole Sentence
Initially thought the sentence could fade out but realised that isn't what happens it moves away as well as getting quieter.
Alone:
In Animation:
Felt as though this was a more appropriate way to demonstrate the sound as it looks more like the way the audio is experienced.
Do I want it to interact centrally within the space or span the whole height of the space. What would work best/have greater impact.

How would this work in regards to reading it, larger text looks really nice with the glitch, however it isn't very legible. Do I want the audience to be able to read it or not?See in animation:
- Text travelling with the sound, it creates another layer of motion within the piece.
- The text height being from top to bottom of shipping container.
- Glitch added to text to highlight different vocal tones.
What to do next?
- Think about the way the sound and text work together.
- Does it need more noticeable imagery or is the text enough?
- How to project onto the container - need to start thinking about the logistics.
