Using 18 different page sizes for the book, and colour coded paper for each category of show. These need to be organised into manageable files. Tested this with having all art boards on the same document, but this became really difficult to print pages from.
Separated the boards into different documents for the colour coded images so every page size was the same number across all art boards across all files.
Re thinking the colour scheme for the paper:
This is the way the categories are organised in the fringe programme itself, this could make the colours for those categories correspond to the programme - an extra tie in if people did know the festival.
Testing with these colours full scale:
The pages with all coloured paper were hard on the eyes, it
looked a lot like a school project rather than a refined book, some colours
worked better than others, the bright pink really complimented the jumbled text
on a large scale.
If the pages were on a combination of more regular paper as well as elements of coloured paper to continue the bright and ‘in your face’ themes.

Tested different paper types earlier on in the project and
found a paper form CASS art which was a recycled paper. You could tell it had
been made from different paper types, it’s a slight blue tone demonstrating the
potential that it hasn’t been bleached or anything.
Tested printing images onto coloured paper in both black and
white and in colour (see in sketchbook).
The black and white worked well on coloured paper but when the image was printed in colour onto the coloured paper the overlaid colours altered the aesthetic of the image. But when printed in black and white on coloured paper the overall impact of the image was damped since the colours are so dark.

Images need to be printed in colour onto non coloured paper, allows for the colour and contrast to the coloured paper pages.
Tested book page layout on illustrator, need to make
following alterations:

- Swap 1 6R for 6L

Need to make a full mock-up of the whole book to test page organisation and find any mistakes:
There were a couple of alterations to be made to make sure everything is consistent, adding and taking away some pages.
Need to make a mock-up of it in colour to see what pages will go next to each other.
