People said in the crit that the idea of including buildings within the animation to act as a landmark and bring the audience back to the idea of travelling around a city.

Thinking about the way it's be animated, the effect isn't as good when compared to the other animations as it doesn't build. Maybe try animating the buildings as though they're being drawn. Do this on Photoshop rather than by hand to save time.
