Final decided piece is:
It communicates the playful nature of the inside of the book. When embossed it will also fit along the these of the traditional cobbled streets, especially with the way the letters t]have be tessellated around each other.
When embossing the paper need to be cut to a size that could cover the entire book, when soaking the paper in the water I only soaked the half that was going to be embossed. There were a could of issues with the paper ripping ever so slightly in the counter of the 'e'. However, when I spoke to the technician they said there wasn't anything that could be done to prevent it.
Once the paper had dried it was very warped, so I dampened the paper and placed it between 2 blotting sheets and placed weight on the top. I left it to dry overnight and when I came back the paper was flat again.
