Camden Town Brewery - Crit, Sourcing Beer Mats

Needing a crit to discuss further how the project could look less childlike.

• Is the more abstract work better even alongside the illustration?
• What could help the overall design appear more mature if you think it needs it?
• Help with poster layout using illustrations as well as type.

Feedback:

• The outline of the text works better than without an outline, ties the text into the imagery more when the imagery doesn't have a collage.
• The colour on the background of the beer mats is nice, it doesn't distract from the rest of the imagery but it enough.
• Having the Camden logo on really brings the focus back to the beer.
• The abstract shapes are a cool idea and link to the cloudwater designs but they're too far a stretch from the original designs. 
• Poster looks fun and playful, not immature, especially with the Camden logo, you know it's beer and meant for adults.
